The Ron Wilkin Bonspiel (on January 24'th) went extremely well. It was attended by out-of-town teams from Toronto, Collingwood and Guelph as well as teams from the Fergus Curling Club! The theme Onesies, Muumuus and Mimosas was a hit.
Congratulations to Team Smeltzer for their win and to Team Leighton for the winners of Best Costume.
Also, congratulations to the bonsliel conveaners Shannon Brinkman, Tara Reeves and Sue Otto for coordinating this fun event.
League schedules, teams and results can all be found in the members section of the website once you LOGIN.
The Fergus Curling Club was established in 1834 and has operated every year since making it the oldest continuously operating curling club in Ontario.
We are a four sheet club of 300+ members. There is a lounge, bar, kitchen, and locker rooms. Much of the work around the club is voluntary with the exception of ice-making and caretaking.
The club is managed by a board of directors elected annually from the general membership.
