This is a new bonspiel with the goal of preparing our u12 curlers for games in a bonspiel setting. There has been interest by u12 parents to have their children form teams and compete in bonspiels, however, to give them some experience, we'd like to team the u12 players with adult curlers from the FCC to form teams and compete. The adults will act as mentors for the young curlers during game play and assist the u12s in learning what is expected of them during a bonspiel. Hopefully the u12s will leave with a positive bonspiel experience having played in a familiar setting with knowledgable teammates and the confidence to create their own u12 teams and potentially compete outside of the club.
The convenors of this bonspiel are Hanna Gordon and Teaghan Laitar.
More details to follow.

The Fergus Curling Club was established in 1834 and has operated every year since making it the oldest continuously operating curling club in Ontario.
We are a four sheet club of 260 members. There is a club room, bar, kitchen, and locker rooms. Much of the work around the club is voluntary with the exception of ice-making and caretaking.
The club is managed by a nine person board of directors elected annually from the general membership.
