Have you watched curling and wondered if it was for you? This 4-5 week course is a low risk, low commitment way to try out this popular sport. The emphasis is on having fun. Equipment will be provided. Students will receive instruction on rules, technique and etiquette, as well as plenty of time on the ice to practice. The course ends with a mini-bonspiel for the full experience of the roaring game!

Curling is great fun and can be played by people of all ages. Fergus has an active and welcoming curling community and is home to the oldest continuously operating curling club in Ontario (established 1834).

Remember, every great curler was once a beginner!

The course meets at the Fergus Curling Club on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 starting October 17th  and ending on November 26th  and includes a mini-bonspiel.

The cost is $75 incl HST for non-members. However, if you join the club as a new member at the beginning of the season, you can take the 101 course for free.

You can pay by cheque or cash at the club, at the Open House, or you can pay via eTransfer by sending your payment to [email protected].
